He was seen on different television channels in India, promoting Paranormal Research. Gaurav has featured in MTV Girl's Night Out with Rannvijay Singh, Haunted Weekends with Sunny Leone and various other shows on different News Channels such as Aaj Tak, Live India, News 24, Star TV, Zee TV etc. Gaurav was also seen on Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein as a paranormal expert.

He was also a Paranormal investigatorUFO Field Investigator and ParaNexus representative in India. He has also been famous on international Paranormal Radio Shows. Gaurav has earned international reputation for himself and his team after busting the haunting myths of Bhangarh, and also for his work in establishing India's first scientific paranormal research association. Gaurav had also featured as an investigator for Syfy's series called 'Haunting: Australia' with Robb Demarest who was ex-Lead investigator for Ghost Hunters International. Gaurav was also seen as an expert in Sony TV's new series Bhoot Aaya which was based on his research and investigations.

Early life and careerEdit

Gaurav was born in a Hindu family. His father Uday Shankar Tiwari is a director with Cooperative Resources International. Gaurav was a commercial pilot and an actor. Gaurav also played character roles in television serials and movies like Tango Charlie16 DecemberSach Honge Sapney. He started his career as an actor at the age of 16 but eventually took up his career as a pilot. Gaurav has graduated from MVP Aero Academy, Texas. In his early days of aviation, When he shifted into his new apartment in Florida with his friends, there were certain unexplained instances that lead him to believe that the house was haunted. These experiences changed him to a believer from a non-believer in paranormal. He endeavoured to know the truth of humanity and afterlife. He was certified as a Lead Anomalous Investigator by Paranexus Association of USA.

He returned to India in 2009 and established Indian Paranormal Society which set him up to people in India who suffer with paranormaland life problems. Gaurav pursued his Doctoral studies in Metaphysical Humanistic Science. He held certifications as a Spiritual Counselor, Hypnotist, and Life and Relationship Coach from Institute of Metaphysical Science (IMHS), Florida, USA. IMHS is a Secular organization believing in Humanism and scientific research. He was also an ordained minister for Metaphysical Church of Humanistic Science (MCHS). Gaurav was also a cartoonist, singer, and writer.

In 2009 Gaurav Tiwari established contact with Australian paranormal investigator Allen Tiller. At this time they began consultations on each other's paranormal investigations and struck up a life long friendship.

MTV Girls Night OutEdit

Gaurav's second television breakthrough was MTV Girls Night Out directed by Sajeed A.. This show was India's first horror/paranormal reality show and it also won the Best Reality Show in Asian Television Awards, Singapore, 2011. A similar show/repeat was Haunted weekends with Sunny Leone.

Bhoot AayaEdit

Appeared as a paranormal expert and lead investigator in Bhoot Aaya and describes a paranormal activity or the reason behind it. In couple of episodes he was also enacted by actors for his contribution towards past life regression and paranormal investigation.

Haunting: AustraliaEdit

Gaurav appeared as a Spirit Photographer, Investigator, and Metaphysicist in Haunting: Australia. He was among one of the top six international ghost hunters for this television series which was appreciated all over the world including USA, UK, Canada, and Australia. In the most part of series he is seen showing some great courage, like going into the morgue chiller (Season 1-Episode 3-"Aradale Lunatic Asylum"), in order to find the truth about the hauntings going on in those particular areas and the "not-so-satisfied" spirits. He was well appreciated for his humanistic and metaphysical approach for paranormal investigations. He has captured many humanoid apparition or "ghosts" on his spectrum camera numerous times for which he was truly appreciated by the team. Despite being injured for a part of the show (due to a segway accident in the first episode), he never lost his cool and maintained his calm and courage all throughout the show.

MTV He TicketEdit

Appeared as a mentor in one of the episodes of MTV He Ticket where he guided the contestants at Bhangarh Fort.

International workEdit

Through his research, blogs, international TV and radio shows, and articles, Gaurav has put his effort to educate people about paranormal awareness to bring down the irrational fear about ghosts and spirits. Gaurav Tiwari seems to be very famous among paranormal researchers and enthusiasts circles in countries like India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Singapore, USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Brazil, and many other parts of world. He was one of the best in his field.

DeathEdit

Gaurav Tiwari was found dead[1] at his Dwarka home on 7 July. According to Delhi Police, it was a case of asphyxiation, but several argument against this theory were raised on social media and news networks.[2]His body was found lying on his bathroom floor with a thin black line across his neck. According to his family, they heard a loud thud from his bathroom at around, 11 AM on Thursday. They forced their way through the locked door to find Tiwari lying unresponsive on the floor. He was rushed to a hospital but could not be resuscitated.
